The wheels spin easily. The handle is easily adjustable. I got this for her to use as a carry-on for when we go visit Grammy and Grandpa. It has plenty of room for all the stuff that a 5 1/2 year old needs to keep her entertained in the airport and on the plane, plus an emergency change of clothes.
